If you fly into Kristianstad Airport, an airport shuttle will pick you up and take you to your cabin in the Golf Club in Åhus.

Arrive at Kristianstad Airport AB to be picked up by our or make your way to our meeting point at Ahus golf course before 12 pm on Friday, June 16th, 2023.

The Local Rule Open Cup in Ahus, is a golf game tournament that is open to contestants regardless of their professional, amateur or beginner status, age, ability, gender, sex, or any other categorization.
What are the Local Rules when it comes to players' acceptance?

Nothing compares to the feeling of a nordic cabin in summer.
With the Baltic Sea a few hundred meters away, the region around the golf course of Åhus is also known for its light, sandy soil, and the golf club is therefore made on the sand, a twelve-meter thick layer, softly and nicely displaying in front of you for 18 marvelous holes.
This has enabled the architects to design rumpled fairways and wildly undulating run-off areas, both of which remind the well-travelled golfer of the timeless links icons of the British Isles.

The midsummer party formula involves dancing around a pole, and singing songs while drinking unsweetened, flavored schnapps. We will do this but around one of the greatest Golf courses in Sweden. To celebrate the beginning of the Summer.

One of the most unique aspects of Midsummer in Sweden is making flower wreaths. Women and girls often wear these wreaths on their heads during celebrations, and they can be made from a variety of flowers such as daisies, wildflowers, and birch leaves.
The winners of the Midsummer Open Cup will win a traditional flower wreath and the engraved names on the prestigious hiking trophy (together with other surprises. We're ready to bring our golfing community of friends together to enjoy the long days of summer and Swedish traditions in a weekend of golf in Ahus.
