RIDE REMOTE

The Gobi desert is the base camp to extremely remote landscapes, no cell phone coverage, and nobody else around you in hundreds of kilometers (except the last living nomad families).

On top of a dirtbike, you will cross sand hills, rocky mountains, old canyons, forests, and endless steppes.

NO-MAN-LAND

Except the occasional nomad.

Riding with Camels in Mongolia

The Gobi is the fifth biggest desert globally and is home to various animals such as antelopes and Bactrian camels. They also like to become riding companions from time to time.

The highest part of the Gobi is 1,580 meters, and the entire area has over 1.2 million km2, a true enduro paradise.

You will be riding through the famous 'Flaming Cliffs of Gobi.' This place is so old; the first dinosaur fossil eggs known are here, exactly where you will experience one of the most beautiful sunrises you have ever seen. Let's ride!

Most adventurous trip ever done. We flew from London to Ulaanbaatar and got picked up at the airport. The rest will stay in me forever.

TOGETHER WE RIDE

The connections with people that go hand in hand with enduro riding are second to none. Dirt biking attracts genuine salt-of-the-earth people. You can share the inspiration and stoke of riding over beverages and bonfires at night.

Having a common interest in riding often breaks down social barriers and brings different people together. Some of my best friendships have come through riding in remote locations. I have yet to find these types of companies and support in other areas of life.

The climate of the Gobi desert is quite extreme. It posses rapid changes of temperature of as much as 35°C (63 °F). These can occur not only seasonally but within 24 hours.

Prepare for warm-to-hot days and chill-to-cold nights.

LIVING NOWHERE

Feeling welcomed.

Nomadic living has remained part of Mongolian life for millennia. Half the country's population still chooses to live in traditional ger tents. It’s in their DNA to wander.

A stay in a ger tent offers you the opportunity to experience a time-honored way of life and provides the perfect base from which to explore Mongolia's majestic landscapes.

Ger tents are well insulated but lightweight to protect against all weathers yet still be quick to dismantle and packed away, making it easy to move freely and find better grazing lands.

LIFE JOURNEY

The road is their home.

Several generations of the same family often live together in Mongolia, preserving its stories, superstitions, and beliefs, passed between father and son to grandson.

The balance of old with new, combined with the gracious hospitality of all Mongolian hosts, makes staying in ger camps a highlight.

During this week, you will discover a culture of travelers who are perpetually on the move, eager to share their food and wisdom with you.
