A snowcat uphill. Your own line down.

We head into the mountains by snowcat, then ski and snowboard back down with experienced guides. Forest runs, open slopes and the search for good snow shape each day.

The snowcat becomes part of the pleasure: boots resting, friends talking and anticipation building as we climb towards the next descent. Everyone has a story by the time the door opens.

Back at the lodge, Georgian food and shared dinners bring everyone together. The evenings have their own rhythm: tired legs, another helping and a conversation that inevitably returns to the snow.

Spend a week with your friends doing something wonderfully absorbing: finding your way down a mountain, then heading back up to do it again. Our guides choose terrain according to the snow, visibility and group’s ability, while the snowcat carries us between descents. There may be short climbs to reach particular lines, but the machine does most of the uphill work. Over successive days, you settle into the rhythm of the place and the people around you. A good run becomes a shared memory before you’ve even reached the bottom.

Bakhmaro. A summer village with a winter obsession.

Our base is Bakhmaro in Georgia’s Lesser Caucasus. Wooden houses sit beneath snowy mountains, with forests below and open alpine terrain above. Winter transforms this summer retreat into a freeride destination.

The nearby Black Sea helps feed the region’s substantial snowfall. Around the village, the terrain offers everything from tree runs to broad slopes, giving our guides different options as conditions change.

Bakhmaro’s winter story has changed. A village once largely deserted under snow now welcomes a growing community of riders, guides and hosts. Spending time here means becoming a guest in that story.

Arriving in Bakhmaro gives you a different picture of a mountain holiday. Houses built for summer sit deep in winter snow, while snowcats head towards the surrounding ridges. The landscape changes as you climb: trees give way to open ground, and the village becomes a small collection of rooftops below. Freeriding has brought new winter life here, alongside the families who have long known these mountains. Our journey takes place within that changing village, where the welcome at dinner matters as much as the terrain outside.

Bring the friends you’d follow into the mountains.

For private groups of experienced skiers and snowboarders who ride confidently off-piste. You should be comfortable with changing snow conditions and have the fitness for repeated descents and occasional short climbs.

Come with a group that enjoys riding together and has broadly similar abilities. The best mountain days happen when everyone can find their rhythm without feeling rushed or holding themselves back.

change the plans; Georgian hospitality, lodge evenings and your friends make the time between runs worth enjoying.

their guides and look out for one another. This journey rewards confident freeriders with enough strength left in reserve to handle difficult snow or a short climb when needed. It also suits friends who enjoy sharing a table after sharing a mountain. Bring an honest understanding of your ability and a willingness to adapt to the conditions. The group’s attitude helps shape the week just as much as the snowfall.
